Lips are sensitive. The skin of the lip is very thin compared to the typical face skin. Blood vessels appear through the skin of the lips which leads to their notable red, colour.

Since lips are very vascular and because of a high number of nerve endings any trauma around the mouth area may cause an occurrence of cold sores.

Please remember that cold sores could happen to anyone at anytime after the procedure. It is not a sign if incorrect treatment or lack of safety, it is the reaction of the skin to the procedure.

Delicate and gentle machine work can reduce the risk, also please remember about right aftercare and moisturising your lips with the recommended cream. For people who get cold sores we strongly recommend to take preventive antiviral medication.

It is recommended to take medicine for a few days before and after the procedure.

The lip tattoo technique are very gentle, that if your lips are dry the tattoo can't penetrate into the skin, meaning your lips may heal uneven and patchy!

If the lips are moisturized, results always end up better.

This is where lip exfoliation can come into play.

Exfoliating your lips can help eliminate some of the dry, flaking skin that builds up and immediately restore some shine, softness, and smoothness.

How to:

* Choose an exfoliating ingredient ( sugar, cinnamon, toothbrush, etc) and an emollient (honey, oil, , Shea butter)

* Mix paste for your lips and apply in small circles.

* Wipe or wash off and apply moisturizer or balm
